I have been granted the vExpert award for 2023!

This award is a recognition for my contributions to the VMware Community.

A little over a month ago, I was triggered by a VMware blog by cromero. Even though I recently started blogging, and this was the second -2023H2- application period, I was not sure this would be the best timing. Probably because of uncertainty and the unknown 😉

Moreover, this feeling was strengthened, amplified, since I know quite some vExperts myself. Mostly because of my current employment and my own network.

During my introduction at my current employer I spoke with my colleague and vExpert Pro about starting contributing to the community. At first I thought about social activities for the community, e.g. vBeers and vBBQ, but soon I decided to start blogging; a relatively easy way to get started… Which I did from that moment on!

In order to apply for this recognition, I used the Best Practice Guide at the vExpert page. After applying for the vExpert award, the current vExport Pro community members judge the applications. I must admit I was surprise I was granted the vExpert Award for 2o23… And I will definitely make sure I keep on contributing 🙂
